Mississippi State to play Michigan in the January 1, 2011 Gator Bowl
Jacksonville, FL. — December 5, 2010
Stephen Tremel, Chairman of the Gator Bowl Association and Chief
Finance Officer and Vice President of Business Operations for Vistakon, announced today that the University of Michigan will play Mississippi State University in the January 1, 2011 Gator Bowl. This will be the first meeting between these two teams.
GATOR BOWL ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES HALL OF FAME CLASS OF 2010

Gator Bowl Chairman Stephen Tremel announced today members of the Hall of Fame Class of 2010. This year’s induction class includes former Florida State Head Coach Bobby Bowden and former Big East Conference Commissioner Michael Tranghese. “The Gator Bowl is extremely proud to honor these two outstanding individuals whose contributions have had such a positive impact in the world of college athletics,” said Chairman Tremel. Both will be inducted at the Gator Bowl Coaches Luncheon and Hall of Fame Induction on December 31 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at 12:00 noon.
