Credential Policy
Media credentials for the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl are issued for working media only. Media agencies credentialed throughout the year at both universities receive priority status. Subject to limitations, the remainder of the requests will be honored in priority order from sports editors of DAILY newspapers and television sports directors in the local/national media followed by weekly publications and radio stations attending the game in a working capacity.
Credential REQUEST
Requesting media credentials will be done online using the Sports Systems Online Credentialing website beginning in November. A link to the site will be set up on this Media page when credential requests will be accepted. Please do not apply for credentials unless you are certain you will be covering the event. Space is limited and credentials will be granted on the priority basis as listed above.
PRESS BOX Credentials
Press Box passes are good only for a reserved seat in the Press Box. It will not permit you access to any other part of the stadium, except at the end of the game when you will be allowed on field access for the awards presentation and the interview room adjacent to the team locker room.
PHOTO/FIELD Credentials
Photo credentials will be issued only to accredited photographers and videographers on assignment for a recognized news organization or sports publication or authorized by the Gator Bowl Association. No freelance photographers will be granted credentials. Photo credentials grant access to the Press Box. Under NCAA rules, photographers/videographers are not allowed between the 25-yard lines and must remain outside the restraining lines surrounding the playing field. All field photographers and videographers must obtain a photo armband on game day which will allow access to pre-approved shooting lanes.
EVERBANK FIELD DOES NOT HAVE A PHOTO DECK

No online service will be allowed “real time” transmission of the Gator Bowl Game. Only contractual rights-fee paying media will be allowed “real time” transmission during the event. “Real Time” is defined as any online media providing live continual play-by-play coverage of an event. Other than the official website of ESPN, the Gator Bowl and each participating institution, representatives staffing web sites shall be accredited for credentials to the Gator Bowl on the following guidelines: One credential may be assigned to a website that is affiliated with a national media of another form (i.e., network, newspaper, etc.).
MEDIA Credentials
Media credentials can be picked up at the Gator Bowl Association office adjacent to the East Touchdown Club located at EverBank Field – Lot C beginning December 26 – December 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Game Day Media Credential Pick-up will be on January 1 at Media Will Call, EverBank Field, Gate 1 beginning at 8:00 a.m.
MEDIA WILL CALL
Game day credentials not picked up at the Gator Bowl Association office during Game Week can be obtained at Media Will Call, EverBank Field, Gate 1 beginning at 8:00 a.m. on game day. Media will be subject to bag checks prior to entry to the stadium.
