Members of the media should request parking passes at the time of their media credential request.
Game day parking passes will be mailed upon request through December 15. Otherwise they can be picked up with game day credentials at the Media Hospitality Room December 30 & 31. To receive via Federal Express, a billing number must be provided at the time credential request is made.

The Hyatt Regency Hotel has been designated the Official Media Hotel for the Konica Minolta Gator Bowl. A limited number of rooms have been reserved for the media – rate: $115/night plus applicable taxes. All media room requests must be made online through the Gator Bowl website via the Media Credential Request Form. All reservations must be secured with a credit card. The credit card does not guarantee a hotel room until your request of credentials is approved and a hotel confirmation number has been assigned. Credential approval and hotel confirmation numbers will be sent via email by the December 17 cut-off date.

The media hospitality suite will be open 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. beginning December 28. It will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m on December 29 and December 30 and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on December 31.
A limited number of game tickets are held for the media until Friday, December 12. After this date, tickets are available on an “as available” basis. The cost is $60 per ticket. Those interested should contact Chris Mahar at 904-798-1700 or

The daily practice schedules and interview policies will be provided by the Sports Information Directors of both universities. All interviews with coaches and/or players must be cleared through each SID.
To ensure a professional working environment, no children, spouses or other non-working personnel will be permitted in the press box or on the field.
Seats will be assigned – check the press seating chart upon arrival in the press box.
There are no permanent phone lines in the Press Box. To order a phone line you must call Jason Morrill, Telecommunications Adm. at 904-633-6125.
There are 5 pool phones available at various seat locations in the press box for general media use at no charge.
Wireless is available in the Press Box and in the Photo/editing areas
There will be a fax machine in the Press Box. A telephone credit card will be required for use of the fax machine.
Members of the media will receive a Konica Minolta Gator Bowl Official Game Program, Media Guide and flip-chart. The two universities will also provide a Bowl media guide from their respective schools.
A play-by-play information sheet will be distributed after each quarter. At halftime, game statistics will be available. Following the game, complete statistics, team, individual and scoring summary along with postgame coaches and players quotes will be available in the press box.

Media credentialed for the Press Box will be permitted to go to field level with approximately 5 minutes left in the game. Each university will set its own policies regarding postgame, locker room interviews. Contact both Sports Information Directors to determine their respective policies.
The postgame press conference area is located in the Theatre Room south of the Home Team field tunnel. The losing coach will be invited to go first.
All field stand-ups must be completed from the South end zone prior to 11:45 a.m. game day. All special requests for in-stadium filming must be directed to Cheri O’Neill, Gator Bowl Association Vice President/Media Relations at 904-798-5982.
USE OF SATELLITE TRUCKS MUST BE CLEARED THROUGH THE GATOR BOWL ASSN. AND INDICATED ON CREDENTIAL REQUEST FORM TO INSURE ADEQUATE PARKING. SATELLITE TRUCKS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO PARKING LOT J AND WILL NOT NEED A PARKING PASS.
