The Konica Minolta Gator Bowl will have the second selection in the ACC after the BCS selection
Over the next two years, the Konica Minolta Gator Bowl will select one team from the Big East Conference or Notre Dame. The Bowl will have the first selection after the BCS selection.
Over the next two years, the Konica Minolta Gator Bowl will select one team from the Big 12 Conference.
The Konica Minolta Gator Bowl will have first selection after the BCS if there is only one Big 12 representative in the BCS. The Konica Minolta Gator Bowl will have third selection after the BCS if the Big 12 has two representatives in the BCS.
